The everyday adventures of two fun-loving twins

Topsy And Tim draws on the legacy of the iconic books by Jean and Gareth Adamson. It’s a drama inspired by the small stuff in little people’s lives. Each episode centres around an insight into family life from the point of view of 5-year-old twins, Topsy and Tim. Whether it’s washing the car with Dad; learning to ride a bike with Mum; or finding a lost cat, each story is full of warmth, humour and above all authenticity.

At the heart of the show are five-year-old twins, Topsy and Tim. They share the special bond that many twins possess and their stories will be recognised by young children everywhere.

We hope that children and their families will enjoy watching the series together and exploring the everyday experiences that can be so central and pivotal to children’s lives at this age.

A hole in the roof means rain is leaking in through the ceiling of Topsy and Tim's room. 

 

2. Strange Beds 

Topsy and Tim can't sleep in the bunk beds because their bedroom is being redecorated.

 

3. Double Playdate 

When Topsy and Tim's friends come to play, things don't quite go to plan at first. 

 

4. New Clothes 

Topsy and Tim are growing out of their old clothes, so Mummy buys them new jeans.

 

5. Lost Keys 

Grandma and Mossy the dog visit Topsy and Tim. 

 

6. Dog Day 

Topsy and Tim look after Grandma's dog, Mossy, with the help of Tim's best friend. 

 

7. Marble Run 

Tim makes a marble run with the help of his friend Tony Welch. 

 

8. Car Wash 

Topsy and Tim enjoy a morning of fun and games with Dad. 

 

9. Bad Smell 

An estate agent is coming to sell Topsy and Tim's house but there's a bad smell somewhere! 

 

10. Pet Sitters 

Topsy and Tim pet-sit their friend Kerry's guinea pigs, Poppy and Bailey. 

 

11. Big Box 

Jamie the postman is delivering a big box to Topsy and Tim's neighbour Mr Fishwick.

 

12. Finders Seekers 

Topsy and Tim play hide and seek with their friends, but Rai gets stuck in the bathroom! 

 

13. Wheely Bags 

Mr Rosen visits Topsy and Tim and shows them how to make a house from a cardboard box. 

 

14. Twin Twins 

Topsy and Tim enjoy making life-sized cardboard cut-outs of themselves. 

 

15. New Babysitter 

Mummy and Dad are going out and the twins are being looked after by their new babysitter.

 

16. Dinosaur Egg 

Tim makes a nest for an egg in the hope that it will hatch into a baby dinosaur.

 

17. Itchy Heads 

Topsy and Tim find out they have nits and can't go to school. 

 

18. House Buyers 

A couple have come to look around the house in the hope of buying it. 

 

19. The Play 

Mummy has hurt her arm and missed Topsy and Tim's nursery school play.

 

20. Old Toys 

Mummy asks Topsy and Tim to sort their old toys before they move house. 

 

21. Lost Stick 

On their way home from nursery school, Topsy and Tim collect lots of sticks. 

 

22. Sing Song 

When a minibus breaks down outside the house, Tim gets a chance to play a ukulele. 

 

23. Wrapping Paper 

The supermarket delivery brings Vinda's birthday card and present but no wrapping paper. 

 

24. Dressing Up 

It's the day of Vinda's knights and princesses party and Topsy and Tim dress up. 

 

25. Chicken Pox 

Topsy feels unwell. A call to the doctor confirms she has chicken pox. 

 

26. Growing Sunflowers 

Mummy gives Topsy and Tim some sunflower seeds to grow in their garden. 

 

27. Baby Jack 

Tony Welch and his mum, Elaine, visit Topsy and Tim with Tony's new baby brother Jack. 

 

28. Wide Awake 

It's the night before Topsy and Tim move house. The twins are too excited to sleep.

 

29. Moving House 

It's moving day. Topsy and Tim say goodbye to their old house and friends. 

 

30. Remember When 

Topsy and Tim remember some of the wonderful, fun times they have shared in the house.

Grandma buys a baby apple tree and Topsy and Tim help to plant it in their garden.

 

12. Wiggles' Trip        

The twins find a clever way of getting their pet rabbit Wiggles to the vet.

 

13. Emergency Rescue        

Mrs Higley-Pigley's cat, Tiger, is stuck up the tree outside Topsy and Tim's house.

 

14. Broken Vase        

Topsy, Tim and their friend Tony Welch accidentally break one of Mummy's vases.

 

15. Special Cake        

It is Mummy and Dad's wedding anniversary, so Topsy and Tim make a special cake.

 

16. Our Teeth        

Topsy and Tim hear about the tooth fairy, and Topsy has a plan to catch a glimpse of her.

 

17. Helping Dad

Topsy and Tim wallpaper their parents' bedroom with Dad, but they get in a terrible mess.

 

18. Washing Mossy

Grandma comes over to babysit Topsy and Tim and lets them bath Mossy the dog!

 

19. Dad's Office

Topsy and Tim meet all the people that work with Dad at Helpful Drivers Minibuses.

 

20. Welcome Home        

Dad helps Topsy and Tim make a special welcome home surprise for Mummy.

Mummy helps create a special birthday invitation for Tim's best friend.

Topsy and Tim decorate a surprise get-well gift for Mr Rosen.

 

23. School Run

Topsy and Tim wonder how they will travel to their new school each day.
